St. Florian’s Mayor Bernd Schützeneder (VP), as reported, criticized that further residential construction without accompanying traffic concepts by the city would finally bring traffic to a standstill. “We have been trying to talk to the city of Linz about this for a long time, so far in vain.” He supports Hajart and his solutions. The tense traffic situation in Ebelsberg and Pichling is in “blatant contradiction to the extensive housing plans”.
The Linz planning councilor Dietmar Prammer (SP) can’t do anything with Schützeneder’s position in the “Causa Linz South”. Instead of preventing affordable living space in Linz, he should rather work with Hajart to find transport solutions for commuters.
