Car drivers with 1.8 per mille landed in the Ager

The man from the Vöcklabruck district was driving his car in Schwanenstadt around 7 a.m. At Neudorf he turned left onto the cycle path in the direction of Lambach. After around 300 meters he must have noticed his mistake and wanted to turn around. The car slid backwards from the narrow cycle path over an embankment around five meters high, until the rear of the vehicle finally landed in the Ager.

The driver remained unharmed, an alcohol test showed a value of 1.8 per mille. The man had to hand in his driver’s license and he will be reported. The fire brigade took over the recovery of the car in the rough terrain.
