As the “Standard” reported on Friday, it is about a man who is said to have been considered the “leading Muslim Brotherhood in Austria”. The setting is said to result from a decision by the Graz Higher Regional Court, but there was no official confirmation for the time being.
The case that has now been closed is not the first in the course of a major Austria-wide raid on November 9, 2020. In the summer of 2021 it turned out that the raids were partly illegal. The Graz Higher Regional Court has upheld several complaints against this measure and, for example, also declared the house search at the Anas Schakfeh non-profit foundation to be illegal.
