Three Germans seriously injured in skiing accidents

As the state police headquarters in Tyrol announced in the evening, there was also a seven-year-old boy who crashed into a padded lift support at high speed during a ski course on the Giggijoch. A 54-year-old and a 44-year-old were injured in collisions with other skiers.

The seven-year-old was on the blue slope 15 of the Giggijoch at around 2:50 p.m. when he lost control of his ride and drove uncontrolled down the valley. After hitting the lift support, he was flown to the Zams hospital with the ambulance helicopter.

The 44-year-old was also seriously injured on the Giggijoch. She was on the red runway 12 at around 1 p.m., as was a 13-year-old Austrian. In the course of their initially separate departures, there was a collision. The 13-year-old was unharmed, the 44-year-old was flown to the Innsbruck clinic by the emergency helicopter with serious injuries.

The 54-year-old collided with an unknown winter sports enthusiast around 11:30 a.m. on the blue slope 38 on the Tiefenbachferner and fell. The police did not know whether he also fell. The seriously injured woman was flown to the Medalp Mils near Imst by the emergency doctor helicopter.
