Two earthquakes shook eastern Aegean

According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens, the earth shook for the second time at 8:39 a.m. (local time).

The centers of the tremors were about 17 kilometers below ground near the popular tourist town of Molyvos in the north of the island of Lesvos. Initially, no injuries or damage were reported, state radio reported, citing civil defense. According to local media, the earthquake was felt on almost all islands in the east of the Aegean and on the opposite Turkish coast.
