The Tyrolean finished third in the ski jumping section, right behind his teammate Franz-Josef Rehrl. Thomas Rettenegger, who surprisingly finished third the day before, is fifth. Rehrl and Lamparter go into the 10K trail six and nine seconds behind leader Ryota Yamamoto (JPN).
In the women’s race, Lisa Hirner started the cross-country ski run in fifth place, 32 seconds behind the leading Italian, Annika Sieff. World Cup leader Gyda Westvold Hansen is second in cross-country skiing with twelve seconds. The men’s cross-country starts at 1.30 p.m., the women’s 5 km at 12.45 p.m.
