At the end of this month, the students of the Gmunden football club are going on a trip to the big German Bundesliga world and are guests at VfL Wolfsburg. Not for the first time, by the way: Back in 2014, the Bad Ischl school made guest appearances with the Werkself in Lower Saxony.
Since 1999, the football club HAK Bad Ischl has been visiting a top European club every year. After a two-year Corona break, this excursion is now possible again. With VfL Wolfsburg, a top German club could be organized for the students this time.
In the Autostadt Wolfsburg, the players will gain a lot of important experience. On the one hand there are duels with the youngsters of VfL Wolfsburg and on the other hand the Volkswagen world in Wolfsburg is visited. Finally, the absolute highlight is a match in the German Bundesliga. When visiting the game VfL Wolfsburg vs. SC Freiburg, the youngsters can see one or the other professional very closely. A visit to the final training session for this game will also be organized for the soccer HAK and PS Bad Ischl.
