The question of who will be twirling across the dance floor on ORF 1 from March 3, 2023 has been answered! The ORF dance event then goes into its 15th round on Fridays at 8:15 p.m. Ten celebrities dance in ten shows together with their professional partners for the favor of the jury and the audience.
Actress Lilian Klebow, influencer and cabaret artist Michael Buchinger, former ski jumping coach Alexander Pointner, ex-racer and commentator Corinna Kamper, styling expert Martina Reuter and restaurateur Eveline Eselböck have already been chosen. The group of participants is now completed by ex-soccer president Hannes Kartnig, former “Dancing Stars” juror and ballerina Karina Sarkissova, musician Lucas Fendrich and author and keynote speaker Omar Khir Alanam. The shows are moderated by Mirjam Weichselbraun and Andi Knoll.
Sarkissova changes sides
Ballerina Karina Sarkissova was previously a “Dancing Stars” juror and is now changing sides: “The expectations of my performance will be particularly high and the jury will be particularly critical of me. But classical ballet is a completely different area than Latin American dances – I have that “I haven’t danced yet, I have to learn it just like everyone else. Also, I haven’t been able to dance for a long time due to the aftermath of Covid and I have to get in shape first.” And further: “In any case, I’m really looking forward to the new challenge and I’m excited to see my professional partner and the jurors.”
