The bus and bus driver were waiting around 10 p.m. at the station square in Linz to be deployed. When the 24-year-old from Linz got on and the driver told him that the bus wasn’t going to Hörsching, the man went completely nuts. He hit the bus driver with his fists, bit him and fled.
But the man was stopped shortly afterwards by the police in the immediate vicinity. But he was still aggressive and even attacked the service dog of a patrol. Finally, the 24-year-old was brought down by several police officers and arrested.
One officer was injured as a result of the fierce resistance. The man was then taken to the Linz police detention center. A drug test was positive.
