The Oberbank Business Club opens its doors in the SV Guntamatic Ried stadium on Wednesday, January 18 and Thursday, January 19 from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Football is not (yet) offered, the season does not start until the beginning of February. Together with OÖN, SV Ried supports the blood donation campaign of the Red Cross and the blood center in Linz on both days.
“It is a very special cooperation and is one of the largest blood donation campaigns in Upper Austria,” emphasizes Werner Watzinger, commercial director of the blood center in Linz.
In December 2021, around 240 people came to have blood drawn.
To avoid longer waiting times, the blood center in Linz will come to Ried with two teams on both days. This means that twelve people can donate blood at the same time.
“Cohesion and Solidarity”
“We want to make our contribution to this special campaign. SV Ried stands for cohesion and solidarity,” says SVR Managing Director Rainer Wöllinger before the 14th edition of the joint blood donation campaign of the three partners.
