Furthermore, representatives of the Feronia supporting organizations, i.e. the OÖ Nachrichten, the Oberbank (board director Florian Hagenauer) and the state of Upper Austria asked the applicants how well they implemented the sustainability criteria. You can find the criteria at nachrichten.at/feronia. Companies, cultural institutions and initiatives as well as clubs and other social institutions can apply there. The application deadline is February 4th.

As an expert in sustainable finance Heidrun Kopp in the Feronia jury. She has many years of experience in the banking sector, with her focus on integrating sustainability criteria (ESG) into the core business of (financial) companies. She runs the podcast “Green Money Talks”.

The industrial manager from Molln Andrew Klauser With his experience as boss of the Salzburg crane manufacturer Palfinger and before that at the tractor manufacturers Case IH and Steyr, he is an experienced expert on the processes in industrial groups and knows many pitfalls of sustainability.

Other members of the jury are the qualified economist and environmental systems scientist Katharina Muner-Sammer, who is the head of further education for sustainable investments at the Austrian Society for Environment and Technology (ÖGUT), and the sustainability consultant Günther Reifer, head of the Terra Institute.
