A 21-year-old driver from Gallneukirchen wanted to drive onto the Autobahn towards Freistadt in Engerwitzdorf on Wednesday around 5:20 p.m. According to his own statements, he overlooked the oncoming car.
There was a head-on collision. The driver of the second car, a 36-year-old Katsdorfer, was seriously injured. After first aid by the emergency doctor, he was taken to the Linz UKH. The 21-year-old was unharmed.
