Actress Stefanie Reinsperger has been receiving hate messages for years because of her weight. “Every time the ‘crime scene’ is broadcast, my Instagram inbox is full of insults,” said the 34-year-old, according to a Friday message from the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”. The Austrian has been playing a commissioner in the Dortmund “crime scene” since 2021.
“You fat pig has nothing to look for on TV,” the Austrian quoted as an example of such a message. Such threats and hate messages are the order of the day for her.
She experienced a first peak of persecution when she embodied the role of paramour in “Jedermann” at the Salzburg Festival in 2017 and 2018. So she recalled a death threat that came directly to the theater: “If I dare to go on stage again with all my obesity, then I will regret it and it will be the last time that I go on stage stood on stage.”
