Young people’s wishes for the future should play a greater role in political decision-making in the future. Above all, the first part of the process, which has already started, is participatory. Youth officer Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer (VP) speaks to young people at several moderated workshops about their questions about the future. In addition, young people should make their own contributions to the topic in a social media campaign. As a “reward” for these video messages, they get colorful socks, the title of the campaign is “Sock’s me”.
Afterwards, the IMAS Institute conducts in-depth interviews with young people and youth experts. The results of the study, which cost 130,000 euros, are to be presented in autumn.
