The district of Kirchdorf is traditionally at the top. At 28.2 percent, more than every fourth new car here is one that runs 100 percent on electricity. A total of 317 new electric cars were registered in the district last year. This puts Kirchdorf in second place behind Wien-Ottakring (49.9 percent) in the Austrian rankings.
With 18.8 percent, the district of Steyr-Land is in the Upper Austrian midfield. In absolute numbers, there were 221 electric cars here. Trailing behind with 12.1 percent (148 e-cars), Steyr-Stadt ranks second to last, just ahead of Wels-Stadt (11.4 percent; 331 e-cars).
