An 88-year-old car driver from the Urfahr area drove his car at 5:40 p.m. on the B126 from Zwettl in the direction of Bad Leonfelden. In the local area of the Oberstiftung, Bad Leonfelden municipality, the pensioner got off the right side of the road for unknown reasons and hit a street lamp. In the traffic accident, the 85-year-old wife riding in the passenger seat was slightly injured. After medical care was provided by the Zwettl emergency medical team, the woman was taken to Freistadt Regional Hospital by the Bad Leonfelden rescue service. The vehicle was totaled.
