A 21-year-old from the Urfahr-Umgebung district, her 18-year-old passenger and a 52-year-old driver from the Freistadt district were injured in the accident. As reported by the police, two cars collided at the intersection of the B124 with the former L580. In one sat the 21-year-old and her 18-year-old boyfriend, who were traveling on the main road from Wartberg in the direction of Linz. The 52-year-old was behind the wheel in the other car. A 32-year-old from the Freistadt district drove behind the car coming from Linz. He could no longer avoid it and touched the two vehicles. The Mühlviertler remained unharmed, the three other participants suffered, according to the police, “injuries of an undetermined degree”. How it came to the collision was still unclear in the evening.
