Football legends tested the new Dilly suites

The Dilly family has been hosting and accommodating guests for six generations. The house in the Garstnertal has developed from an inn and farm to one of the top national park resorts in Central Europe.

Shortly before Christmas, the “Dilly”, which has existed since 1906, took the next big step: After several years of planning, the owner family presented the “Dilly new”. The core are 32 garden studios and suites, some with private sauna and access to the bathing lake. In a natural recreation area including an infinity pool, visitors can take in the beauty of the Garstnertal. Children’s area, youth club, adjoining multi-storey car park and other additions and additions underpin Dilly’s motto: “If you stand still, you’ve already lost.”

The common drive behind the major project, which connects the bosses with the entire team, is: “To give our national and international guests moments of natural luxury – sustainable, climate-neutral and authentic”, says Kathrin Dilly, who is responsible for the golf course and the marketing. As a national park resort, one is aware of a high degree of responsibility towards guests, the region and the environment. “We know how important it is to preserve beauty in our country. Also for future generations.”

With the redesign, the hotel has expanded its offer. You don’t necessarily want to fit into the usual tourism drawers. Rather, the aim is to convince guests and encourage them to come back with a family atmosphere, extensive wellness offerings, the hotel’s own golf course and the Kalkalpen National Park. A few football legends mingled with the first test persons in the new Dilly: Adi Hütter, Manfred Schmid, Pepi Schicklgruber are friends of the house and had a good time. (dmf)
