The low temperatures are also giving the small ski areas renewed hope that they will be able to have enough snow on their pistes again. As reported, Hochficht announced that it would start again at least partially at the weekend. The same applies to the Sternstein, where the lift operators announce via Facebook that they want to start again on Saturday. However, the weather forecast does not seem to be completely trusted and, as a precaution, they are writing about an “expected reopening”.
