The man was arrested on Tuesday, and only a small part of the loot – jewelry and cash worth a total of 26,000 euros – was found in his apartment. He is said to have captured the stolen goods when he broke into a house in Linz-Urfahr last September. The 79-year-old owner is said to have slept during this time. The suspect confessed to the burglary, citing drug addiction as the motive.
