Due to their high criminal energy, the public prosecutor’s office assumes that further crimes are to be expected. The 16-year-old Iraqi, the 15-year-old Thai woman and the 16-year-old Afghan were therefore remanded in custody on Thursday because of the risk of committing a crime. The public prosecutor’s office justifies this with the past life of the young people known to the office – the 15-year-old schoolgirl has a previous conviction for robbery, and there are other charges against the Afghans who are entitled to asylum.

As reported, the three suspects were arrested as leading participants in the riot night. The balance after the completed investigations are thus five arrests: A 21-year-old Syrian, who has been in custody since the end of December, has to answer in court on March 2 for serious communal violence and attempted serious bodily harm. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the charges against a 19-year-old Spaniard, in which 162 illegal fireworks were found, are not yet final.
