Customers will find regional groceries, sustainably produced toys, healthy snacks, unique gift ideas and much more in a new shop that is opening today in St. Georgen on Attergaustrasse.
With the “Dorfkiste” Deputy Mayor Caroline Seber (ÖVP) is fulfilling a long-cherished heart’s desire. “Many producers in the area create wonderful products that you often don’t even know,” says Seber. “In the Dorfkiste I would like to offer these goods a stage and consciously support small businesses. I am firmly convinced that in our consumer-oriented society we should return more strongly to the origins and give regional products a higher priority.”
Seber and her team also offer fresh snacks to take away and coffee-to-go every day. Individual gift baskets for companies and private individuals as well as colorfully filled gift balloons for births or baptisms complete the offer. In addition to satisfied customers, it is important to Seber to offer their employees a family-friendly working environment. This means that they can take the youngsters with them to work for a few hours.
