For the next few days he will be working from home with his family in Bregenz. From January 30th he wants to attend regular and planned appointments in person again. Until then, he will continue to be represented by State Secretary Florian Tursky (ÖVP) for appointments that cannot be postponed.
On the occasion of his discharge from the hospital, Brunner thanked on the one hand for the “many wishes for recovery” – and on the other hand “the doctors and the entire team at the AKH for the highly professional and caring care in the last few days”. He was “under inpatient observation”, now he will “work from home for a few more days on medical advice,” the minister reported in a written statement.
