The onset of winter in the past few days has led to several accidents in the Salzkammergut. On Saturday morning in Bad Goisern, a driver slipped off the road on a steep stretch of road in the Wildpfad district. His car threatened to crash, but was rescued by the Weißenbach and Bad Goisern volunteer fire brigades.

In the Laakirchner district of Lindach, a clearing vehicle came off the road on Saturday. The Lindach and Laakirchen volunteer fire brigades used a crane to pull the heavy vehicle back onto the road. Slightly damaged, it was able to resume the clearing work.

In Bad Ischl, a driver left the road on Rettenbachstrasse on Saturday. His vehicle got stuck with the base plate over a creek bed. The Rettenbach-Steinfeld-Hinterstein volunteer fire brigade was able to pull the car back onto the roadway using the crane of a heavy rescue vehicle. Here, too, the driver was able to continue driving. A few days earlier, the fire brigade had to rescue a car on the same snow-covered forest road.
