On January 20th, the new election of the command of the FF Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting took place. Michael Wagner, who was commander of the fire brigade for 20 years, made his position available in the five-yearly election. The numerous firefighters present elected their new leadership – commander and deputy, secretary and treasurer – for the next term of office. In the elections, Andreas Wagner as commander, Lukas Schröder as deputy commander, Christian Kienbauer as secretary and Gerald Ennser as treasurer were elected to their positions with a large majority.
Mayor Erwin Stürzlinger carried out the election together with the employees of the market town office. A new addition to the previous functions this year is a group commander for the drone base, since the Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting fire brigade will receive a fire brigade drone in the course of the year. At the end, Mayor Stürzlinger thanked the outgoing officials for their services to the fire service – first and foremost Michael Wagner, who was the head of the fire service with around 120 members with great commitment for 20 years.
