As reported by the Styrian State Police Directorate, the woman is said to have previously gotten into an argument with a man, spokesman Fritz Grundnig told APA that the victim’s 33-year-old ex-husband and another person had been arrested.
Witnesses to the previous disputes alerted the emergency services with an emergency call. When they arrived at the scene around 4:30 p.m., they found the seriously injured woman. Despite rescue measures immediately initiated by the emergency doctor, the 34-year-old died a little later. The 33-year-old ex-husband of the victim was arrested, said Grundnig, he is considered an urgent suspect.
Victims and possible perpetrators are said to have lived together in an apartment, the second arrested man at least in the same apartment building. According to the police spokesman, the relationship between him and the other two people will emerge from the ongoing surveys. Further details about the homicide and the possible course of events are expected to be announced tomorrow.
