Maximilian Steiner sailed 236 meters in the trial run for ski flying at the Kulm. The 26-year-old from Ebensee thus sets an unofficial Salzkammergut record.
So far, this has been held by Maximilian Schmalnauer, who stood 221.5 meters as a leader in the Kulm World Cup five years ago.
Schmalnauer can console himself with the fact that Steiner is also from his club, the Nordic Team Salzkammergut.
