The fire broke out around 1:35 a.m. In the afternoon, the police reported the possible cause. According to this, stored ashes could have triggered the fire. There was also a power distributor nearby. According to the fire expert, however, it is rather unlikely that the fire started from the distributor.
When they got to the scene, the house was already engulfed in flames. A water supply was secured from a nearby hydrant. Despite an exploding gas bottle, the four fire brigades who were alerted were able to quickly bring the fire under control and save surrounding buildings and a parked luxury car. No one was injured and the building was a total loss.
