Under the slogan “maintain the dialect and inspire the youth for it” the Freie Bühne Innviertel organized one for the first time last Friday in the foundry in Ried “Poetry slam in dialect”. For Maximilian Ziedek it is a kind “pioneering work”. In the Innviertel there are no such formats yet.
Without a doubt, the star of the evening was Gregor Fuchs from Braunau, who was Braunau’s deputy mayor from 1982 to 1991. Fuchs delighted the audience with his great performances. Fuchs, for whom the language and culture in the Innviertel are very important, was greeted with loud applause by the visitors. The other poetry slammers also received a lot of approval from the audience. The second edition of the Innviertler Poetry Slam will take place on February 24th in the Gießerei.
