This was the first reception by Mayor Doris Staudinger (VP), who was able to welcome many representatives from politics, business and clubs. In her speech, she presented the projects that were carried out in her first year in office.
Guest of honor was Governor Thomas Stelzer, who presented the former mayor Karl Staudinger with the Golden Medal of Merit of the Republic. The father of the current city manager was mayor of Schwanenstadt for 26 years and was active in national associations in his function as mayor. He was also an honorary functionary and still is in many clubs in the city.
The music school director Gerhard Hofer and his colleague Dino Sequi on the piano provided the musical entertainment for the evening.
