The accident happened at 5:25 p.m. in St. Marienkirchen near Schärding. A 59-year-old man from Bavaria was driving his car from Antiesenhofen towards Suben. Driving in the opposite direction was a Hungarian who lost control of his car in a sharp right turn. The car crossed the middle of the road, resulting in a collision. The 59-year-old’s car was thrown against a traffic sign. After first aid by the emergency doctor and the Red Cross, the injured person was taken to the hospital. According to the police, the Hungarian and his passenger were not injured. Both cars were totaled.
