A 57-year-old German skier was heading towards the standard chairlift in the Hochficht ski area on the Wenzelwiese. At the same time, a 10-year-old girl from the Czech Republic was driving down the Hochwald descent towards the Reischlbergbahn. At around 12.40 p.m. there was a head-on collision in the area where the two runways crossed, causing both of them to fall. The girl had to be admitted to the Rohrbach Clinic after emergency medical care.
