On the night of Saturday, a police patrol in the Linz-Land district stopped an alcoholic driver who was driving on the B1, Salzburger Straße, without a light. In addition, three drivers, including two probationary license holders, had their driving licenses confiscated on the spot after the prescribed speed limit of 70 km/h had been exceeded by more than 50 km/h. The record holder was a 21-year-old probationary driver’s license holder from the Wels-Land district who exceeded 67 km/h after deducting the tolerance. All violations were recorded with a calibrated video tracking device and are reported to the BH Linz-Land.
