In 2025, the start is then scheduled for May 6th. As usual, the exams in Latin and Greek are on the program on the opening day of both years.
In 2024, the written exam in German will follow on April 30th, before continuing with mathematics on May 2nd after the national holiday (May 1st). After a long weekend break from exams, it will continue on May 7th (English) and May 8th (French) before Ascension Day means another long weekend and a break from the Matura. The exams should then be completed on May 13 (Italian) and May 14 (Spanish and minority languages).
In the following year, it will be much more compact: immediately after the start on May 6, 2025, the written exams will follow in German (May 7), math (May 8) and English (May 9). After the weekend, the daily routine continues: French is tested on May 12th, Spanish and the minority languages on May 13th, and Italian on May 14th.
