Affordable unique bags For three years, the Upper Austrian has been processing genuine leather, imitation leather and all kinds of fabrics that are no longer required by a wide variety of companies. “Many models have now been created from the first clutch offered. In the meantime I have received old motorcycle gear, jackets, old belts, old bags that I no longer need, which I dismantle. Everything that I can use from it is processed into my unique pieces.”
Reitböck works from home. Customers can come in person and see the material, feel it and then decide what their model will be made of. Sustainably processed or “green” is usually more expensive than mass production. “Thanks to my concept, my bags are affordable. At so-called clutch-it-yourself parties, customers can also get creative themselves and be a bit of a designer,” says the bag producer.
