The association “Aus Freude am Menschen” recently donated 10,000 euros to “Give for Life – Leukemia Aid Austria” from the Karl Monz Foundation, which is close to BMW. In total, more than 31,000 euros have already been made available for leukemia aid in the past two years and 250 potential lifesavers have been identified.
The association “Aus Freude am Menschen” bundles the social commitment of the employees of the BMW engine plant in Steyr and organizes various charitable projects. Plant manager Klaus von Moltke and the board members of the association recently handed over a donation of 10,000 euros to representatives of Leukemia Aid Austria. This donation was made possible by submitting the club project “Flea market for a good cause” to the Karl Monz Foundation, which is close to BMW. Every year, the foundation awards social employee projects with donations for selected organizations.
The employees at the BMW Group plant in Steyr have been supporting Leukemia Aid Austria for two years now. Among other things, two flea markets were organized for a good cause on the factory premises.
