It is the duel of the penultimate (Ried) against the last from Styria.
“It’s obviously a hugely important game for us. Less as far as the opponent is concerned because he is last. Rather, because we want to take positive energy and mood with us for the next rounds”says SV Ried trainer Christian Heinle, who once again appeals to the cohesion in the club. “There were nine players in the starting line-up against Sport-Club im Cup who were still playing in the second division a year and a half ago. If we stand together, then we can stay up in the league.”
With a win, Ried would extend the lead to five points. With a defeat, the Innviertler would fall back to last place in the table.
