The man was traveling with his children and immediately called the police. The woman was probably only lightly dressed. Due to the situation in which they were found and the type of injuries – including to the head – a violent crime is assumed, said a police spokesman in the morning. The victim is believed to be between the ages of 20 and 35. The Linz public prosecutor ordered an autopsy. It should take place in the afternoon.
Investigations are currently underway, the State Criminal Police Office and a large contingent of police are on site.
