s’Fachl in Linz renovated and enlarged: More space for regional products

Larger, visually upgraded and therefore more space to present the products as well as a new coffee corner with a view of Linz’s main square: after six years, s’Fachl has been completely renovated. “The space for our tenants was already getting tight and our shelves, which were upcycled from fruit crates, were getting on in years,” say shelf masters Michaela Rückl and Sabine Reisinger about the redesign. This will be presented on Friday this week at an annual celebration from 2 p.m.

The Fachl on the main square helps people looking for regional specialties. Small or young companies can rent a “Fachl” there and present their products at low cost. According to Rückl and Reisinger, this should support them in building up their business.

The entire commercial space has been renovated. The basement has been completely redesigned and optimized to have more space for product presentation. However, the two specialists have remained true to the concept with the fruit crates.

The upper floor is now a pop-up area, for which some cooperations with women from the region are already being planned. A special highlight in the newly designed s’Fachl is a small coffee corner, where you can enjoy your coffee and sugar-free desserts with the most beautiful view of Linz’s main square.

There are a total of 345 compartments throughout the store that can be browsed through. According to Rückl and Reisinger, there are still a few spots left.
