Artist couple Strasser and Stipsits divorced

Cabaret artist Thomas Stipsits and actress Katharina Straßer have been divorced for a year. The 39-year-old confirmed this to News magazine. Accordingly, the two did not want to “hang the big bell” on the separation, and they are still closely connected. “We see each other often, we’re still friends, we both take care of the children. We’re fine,” says Katharina Straßer (39).

The couple continues to work together, and their joint feature film “Greece” will be released in a few days. “We gave each other the last real kiss in front of the camera,” says Straßer. And: “We want to be an example that people get along well even after a divorce.”

In September 2021, Stipsits went public with his burnout and spoke openly about exhaustion and panic attacks. But his illness is not the reason for the separation. “We’ve grown apart. There’s nothing more to say about that.”
