The climate activist Lena Schilling, the journalist Christine Haiden, the head of the Capital of Culture Elisabeth Schweeger or the theologian Elisabeth Höftberger: These and other successful women have been guests at the HLW Bad Ischl in the past few days, where the usual schedule was suspended for a whole week.

Instead, the students and their teachers spent a whole week dealing with the role of women in our society. “woman goes to school” was the name of the project initiated by teacher and gender officer Andrea Promberger. It was also about emphasizing the importance of women in business, culture, sport, politics and history.

The project week culminated on Friday in the form of a high-calibre evening event (see above). A panel discussion, artistic performances, exciting lectures and of course the extensive exhibition, which reflects the findings of the students, found an interested audience.
