When she was supposed to get into a limousine after her arrival in Vienna, world star Jane Fonda waved her off. “She is a climate protector,” said Richard Lugner. On Wednesday, one day before the opera ball, the actress appeared in front of the press with Richard Lugner. She had assumed a visit to the Vienna Opera. Fonda said she was surprised that a ball was taking place there. At her press appearance she dished out against the opera sponsor OMV. She described the group as “criminal”. “These companies that rely on fossil fuels are killing people,” she said, and told the media representatives: “Please try to get the opera to stop this sponsorship.”
