A snack machine in and of itself is nothing out of the ordinary. But it is the one that was “opened” today in the tobacco factory – because of its content. As the name suggests, the first Sushimat in Upper Austria is filled with sushi and maki. Veggie Sets, Crispy Spicy Sushi and River Maki Mix are available as well as Panang Curry Rolls.
These are created by Kannika Klampho, who combines local and Asian influences in her work. Their brand “River Sushi” relies on regional ingredients from the Mühlviertel, including fish from Windhaag near Freistadt.
The Sushimat can be found in the foyer of the tobacco factory (House Casablanca), it is available daily. Payment is possible with cash and cashless.
