What is this project about?
Among the reforms to be carried out are the demolition of retaining walls, concrete benches and stairs for the construction of new bleachers, corridors and stairs. The first stage of the project aims to remodel the lower stalls, the technical areas and the accessibility to the theatre.
Regarding the remodeling of the lower stalls, it was proposed to raise it, create new retaining walls and circulation corridors. In addition, ten locations will be added – which will double the existing ones – along with the incorporation of a ramp. On the other hand, they may armchairs with high backs in the lower stalls with the aim of improving comfort.
Regarding the technical improvements, they will build special locations for the location of the jury of the Contest of Carnival Groups. In addition, new rainwater and technical channels for audio, video, among others, will be made, together with the installation of the audio infrastructure for the upper stalls.
Finally, in relation to the accessibility of the theater, the entire road will be improved including the area of artists, the gastronomic area, suppliers and the entrance of the public.
