“Producers will be able to access the transfer of rations, cleaning water and drilling semi-surgent wells,” explained Pereira, who added that the main concern is the lack of water that they are going to try to mitigate with these measures that will be in charge of the General Directorate of Works and Workshops.

According to the resolution published by the mayor’s office, the “cleaning and conditioning of water with its enclosures, construction of drinking troughs and supply of the necessary plastiducts”. On the part of the administration, the subsidy will depend on the number of hectares. In productive units smaller than 50 hectares it will be 50%, in units of 51 to 250 hectares it will be 30% and for units with 251 to 400 hectares it will be 15%. However, the producer must bear 40% of the costs of the company for the work carried out. This balance can be financed in 12 monthly installments without interest.

On the other hand, there will be semi-surgent wells for Productive Units of up to 250 hectares, with a 50% subsidy from the mayor. Of the costs, 30% can be financed, which will be given in 12 monthly installments and without interest. This emergency plan will be valid until December 31 of this year.
