REED. The start-up company Alveri, founded in 2019, is building a new charging infrastructure for electromobility in Ried im Innkreis together with the regional energy provider Energie Ried. By the summer, more than 20 additional public charging points from Alveri will be available to the residents of Rieder.

The company, which is run by the brothers Ehsan and Jakob Zadmard from Ried, develops various solutions for the globally growing electric car market.

In addition to the wall boxes (AC, up to 11 kW), there will also be fast chargers (DC, up to 60 kW). For 58.80 euros per month, e-car drivers can charge unlimitedly at the AC columns, if you want to fill up with electricity at the AC and DC columns, you have to pay 94.80 euros (gross) per month.

The offensive in Ried, which is also supported by Raiffeisenbank Ried, the municipality and the Wallbox Chargers, is just the beginning for Alveri, as CEO Ehsan Zadmard emphasizes: “We want to carry our vision of simple, seamless and affordable mobility from Ried to all district capitals in Austria. We want to help create incentives for switching to e-mobility and offer our customers the simplest possible plug-and-play solutions.” In the near future, Alveri wants to expand its own offer to the surrounding towns of Braunau, Schärding and Grieskirchen.

“As an energy supplier, we see it as our responsibility to promote the charging infrastructure for electromobility. It is important that we act now to enable an environmentally friendly and sustainable future,” says Fritz Pöttinger, CEO of Energie Ried. “With our commitment to a future-proof charging infrastructure, we as a regional bank show that we are committed to the needs of our customers and to a sustainable future. We are proud to be part of the Alveri project, which is driving the energy transition,” says Joachim Knoglinger, the managing director of the Raiffeisen Region Ried.
