Sieghartsleitner is the new president of Jagd Austria

Together with his two deputies, Max Mayr-Melnhof from Salzburg and Josef Proell from Lower Austria, Sieghartsleitner took over the office of President of the umbrella organization Jagd Österreich, an amalgamation of all nine Austrian provincial hunting associations.

Sieghartsleitner has set many goals for his presidency, but above all he is concerned with greater dialogue between hunters and the general public. “The achievements of the hunters are often overshadowed by individual negative reports. We also have to find solutions together with the forest,” says Sieghartsleitner.
