MATTIGHOFEN. Werner Sattlecker already had a business idea 46 years ago: he founded a taxi company – at that time still in Salzburg. But after a few successful years, he and his wife Ursula were drawn back home – to Mattighofen. Not only because of his parental home and the sympathy for Mattighofen, but also because he saw great potential in the then small community. So in 1983 the challenge began for him to put into practice the idea of a taxi company, which was still relatively unknown to Mattighofen.
The preparations
Concessions were applied for, cars were bought and advertising was done. When everything was wrapped up, we could finally get started. Day and night, over the years, the Sattleckers built up their company step by step and over time made it what it is today: an established and successful taxi company. Passenger transport, patient transport, courier services, airport transfers and shopping trips were and are still being offered. A concept that still works today. So good that the company kept growing. So the Sattleckers hired additional drivers and bought new cars and buses.
But despite the flourishing company, Ursula and Werner Sattlecker increasingly focused on one topic: their pension. And with it the question of who should continue to run the company in the future.
Siblings at the wheel
However, it did not take long before it was clear that their two children, Veronika and Florian, would take over the company. While the offer remained the same, there was a change in terms of structure. The siblings have decided to separate the company. Since then, Florian has been the managing director of Taxi Flo and Veronika the managing director of Taxi Sattlecker. This ensures the continuation of the company and the residents of Mattighofen and the surrounding area can also be happy that there will continue to be a down-to-earth taxi company that will bring customers safely to their destinations. And that for 40 years now.
