Laika ran away from her master on Wednesday around 6 p.m. in the area of ​​the A1 (Westautobahn) near Ansfelden. On Thursday at around 10 a.m. the sighting of a dog on the Autobahn in the Traun area was reported. The A1 was blocked and police officers were looking for the nine-month-old dachshund mixed breed lady. They finally found Laika sitting under a guardrail around midday, police said. The bitch was handed over to her relieved owner unharmed.
