REED. “There are still cards for all sectors in the home area,” said SV Guntamatic-Ried Marketing Manager Tim Entenfellner Thursday morning. Around 4,900 tickets were sold by Thursday noon for tomorrow’s Upper Austria derby (5 p.m.) between SV Ried and LASK in the Josko Arena. “There are still around 2,800 tickets available,” said Ried’s Marketing Director Tim Entenfellner.

Unlike the last four duels between the two teams, where spectators were allowed, there is a very high probability that the Josko Arena will not be sold out tomorrow. The bitter 1-0 home defeat against Hartberg last Sunday should also play a role. “If we had won against Hartberg, the rush would certainly have been a little bigger,” says SV Ried Managing Director Rainer Wöllinger.

“I’m convinced that the stadium will be very busy against LASK with 6,000 to 6,500 spectators,” says Entenfellner. The VIP area is completely sold out, and the away sector will also be full with 500 LASK fans. Tickets are still available on Friday at the SV Ried office and online on the SV Ried homepage until the start of the game. The box offices, where there will still be enough tickets, will be open from 3 p.m. on Saturday. The total capacity in the Josko Arena is 7300 seats.

Game permit is here

There was already good news for those responsible at SV Ried on Wednesday, because the new Serbian offensive player Aleksandar Lutovac received the right to play in the form of the red-white-red card. “Everything is done, the cooperation with the AMS Ried and the Ried district authority was once again excellent,” emphasizes Xandi Mitterhofer, who is responsible for finance and licensing in the SV Ried office, among other things. The 25-year-old is therefore eligible to play against LASK. Lutovac, who was last under contract with Serbia’s top club Partizan Belgrade, can play both on the right flank and up front.

Lutovac against LASK

“Lutovac is a very robust, strong tackle winger with a lot of speed. He will certainly help us and will most likely be in the squad against LASK,” says SV Ried coach Christian Heinle.

Whether Philipp Pomer and David Ungar, who were injured against Hartberg, will return will be decided at very short notice. The duo has already trained with the team again this week, so it seems quite possible to play.
